Q. Why is the event called Military Team Bass Tournament?
A. The event is for former and active military, DOD and direct family members.
Q. What is the entry fee?
A. $150 per team per event
Q. What requirements there to fish this event?
A. Participation is open to all active duty Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard members, their dependents 16 years of age or older (holding a valid ID card), National Guard, Reservists, DOD Civilians, DOD contractors and retired military. Veterans who served and received an Honorable or General discharge and possess a DD-214 are eligible to participate. Contractors must be under active DOD contract during the tournament week. Identification (ID) cards will be checked during the on-site registration. Teams will be comprised of two anglers both of which must be members in good standings of American Bass Anglers, Inc. (includes any temporary membership) who are 16 years of age or older. Contestants between 16 and 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian signature prior to entering the tournament. Proof of age to the satisfaction of tournament officials is the responsibility of the competitor. Tournament officials reserve the right to refund any membership and/or entry fee, if they choose for any reason not to accept the application and/or entry fee.
Q. Do I have to be an ABA member to register?
A. Yes, the tour is open to all ABA members in good standings. Also, ABA Members receive many benefits. 6 issues of the ABA Magazine, Sponsor discounts, decal, patch, access to special areas of the aba website. Be a part of an organization that is all about the angler!
Q. Are there ways to not pay a membership fee?
A. Yes, there are several special programs that allow you a first year free membership or a complimentary membership.

Q. How many teams will get a pay check in these events?
A. The top 15% of the field. Example: 200 boats – 30 places
Q. Can I have a guide fish with me during practice?
A. No, while other tours allow this ABA does not. During official practice a contestant may only pre-fish with another contestant or (with tournament director’s approval) a member of their immediately family.
Q. Is there an off-limits?
A. There is no official off-limits
Q. When do you have to be registered for events?
A. 12:00 noon local time, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 (on-site). However,
Q. Will registrations be taken after Wednesday 5pm CST prior to the event?
Q. When are boat numbers assigned?
A. Boat Numbers are assigned as you registered on a first come, first served basis with package entries having priority over single event entries made after the entry deadline, 22 April 2016, a $25 late fee will be assessed
Q. Are there sponsor bonuses for events?

Q: Can Guide fish this event?
A: Individuals who are serving as a licensed guide or are paid for guiding on tournament waters within the previous 30-day period are not eligible to compete in this event
Q. Will polygraphs be use?
A. Yes ABA does polygraphs at all Team Tour events! 1st place plus one or more other places will be polygraphed.
