Benedetti Awarded Key to the City at Lake Eufaula

American Bass Anglers employee, Billy Benedetti, was given the "Key to the City” by Eufaula Mayor, Jack Tibbs, during the 2015 ABA Military Team Bass Tournament. Benedetti is a RAM Weekend Bass Series tournament manager and he was fishing the annual military event with his father. Mayor Tibbs brought Benedetti up on stage during the tournament briefing of the military event to present him with this astounding award.

"I felt that we needed to do something to recognize Billy Benedetti's relationship with the community, here in Eufaula. Billy has been an asset to the Lake Eufaula community with his professionalism and bringing ABA events here each year. Billy performed the greatest act of professionalism that I have ever witnessed of a tournament director at a recent event, here in Eufaula. He was having technical issues playing the National Anthem prior to blast off, so he sang the National Anthem to all of the anglers that morning," said Tibbs.

"I am truly honored to be awarded the "Key to the City". I had no idea that this was coming and I was in complete shock when Mayor Tibbs presented me this award. Eufaula has always been a special place for me to visit each year," said Benedetti.

Billy Benedetti has been employed with American Bass Anglers, Inc. since 2009. Benedetti operates the Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama South, and Tennessee East divisions of the RAM Weekend Bass Series.
